South African South-West Coast

PACKAGE OVERVIEW

A special self-drive package to discover two of the most beautiful provinces of South Africa: the Eastern and the Western Cape. Along the coastline to the west of the country, they boast various wonders: the Cape Peninsula, Cape Town and its winelands, the charm and refinement of the small coastal towns of Hermanus and Knysna, and finally, the African bush you will enjoy with three days of safari.

Days 1-2-3 Cape Town

Meet & greet on arrival in Cape Town. Brief on your stay and pick up your vehicle. Depart to Constantia (45min) to reach your hotel at the foot of the mountains for three nights.
Activities: Golf or spa on the hotel’s property, day excursion to the Cape Peninsula, wine route excursion, the beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, the shops and facilities of the Waterfront (possibility to do a helicopter flip above the Bay or a sunset cruise), cable car to the top of Table Mountain, visit the historical centre of Cape Town.

Day 4 – Hermanus or Swellendam

Depart to Hermanus via the coastal road (Gordon’s Bay and Betty’s Bay) or to Swellendam via the wine route (Worcester and Robertson).
Night in a Guest House.

Days 5/6 – Knysna

Drive to Knysna via Mossel Bay and Wilderness.
Activities in Knysna: Eco-excursion on the lagoon in the Featherbed Nature Reserve, catamaran or boat cruise. Golf on the 5-star course of Pezula or Simola, local oysters tasting, the beaches of Plettenberg Bay and Noetzie. Nights in town at the hotel.

Days 7/8/9 – Eastern Cape / Private Game reserve

Drive to Port Elizabeth where you leave your vehicle. Transfer to your lodge situated in the heart of a private game reserve home to the ‘Big 5’, each suite (no TV) has its own private viewing deck, as well as a heated plunge pool. Two daily safaris, superb meals, personal attention. Optional: horse riding, fishing, golf, spa.
